Acts of Radical Kindness (ARK) Outreach is a registered Christian charity organisation in Ireland [CRO 670878, RCN 20206605] and Nigeria.
Our founder identified urgent health needs on a 2016 visit to Nigeria, initiating a free medical mission trip sponsored by Global Missions Ireland (GMI). That initial trip has grown into an annual programme with lasting impact in every community the team has visited. It was established in 2016 with the heart and the passion to reach the less privileged in rural communities in Africa i.e. low-income earners, orphaned children, basically those in need. The now established mission promotes the importance of public health, mental wellness through the provision of education and training opportunities.
The first free medical outreach trip was in 2017, when a team of 3 people from Ireland travelled to Nigeria and joined over 30 medical and non-medical professionals to serve over a thousand individuals. These first-hand accounts from the returning team highlighted the issues and struggles faced by people in the developing countries and birthed a desire to reach out and impact lives.
ARK Outreach has now been running for many years, sending medical teams, supporting vulnerable people, orphanages, paying hospital bills for families that cannot afford to pay their hospital bills. We have also initiated mental health awareness programmes and plan to expand this to include Ireland. At ARK Outreach, we believe that everyone has a right to survive and thrive to be healthy,
protected, free from poverty and educated and most importantly, come to know our Lord Jesus Christ in a deep and personal way.
ARK Outreach has also built-up contacts with friends and partners in Ireland and other organizations abroad. Our main goal is to care for people and impact their lives through love, compassion, and action and addressing issues such as access to healthcare, disease prevention, and health education.

Founder & President

Ann graduated as a Youth and Community worker at University College Cork, Ireland. Her passion for young people led her to mentor disadvantaged youth and coordinate second-chance education programmes.
She later completed a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Promotion. Her Nigerian roots and firsthand understanding of the barriers facing rural communities inspired ARK Outreach.
Ann’s focus is on developing sustainable programmes, creating health awareness in under-resourced rural areas, and collaborating with other NGOs to empower young people and women through education and training.
BA(HONS), MA, DClin Psy - Mental Health and Children Outreach Program Coordinator
Cynthia is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience supporting the mental health and wellbeing of children, adolescents, and families. She is passionate about making psychological support accessible and promoting resilience through early intervention, positive psychology, and community engagement. Alongside her clinical work, Cynthia is committed to promoting emotional wellbeing, reducing stigma surrounding mental health, and equipping children, young people, parents, and communities with practical tools to build resilience.
Cynthia joined the ARK Outreach medical mission in Nigeria in 2019 and now helps coordinate the charity’s children’s and mental health initiatives, ensuring compassion and dignity remain at the heart of its work.
Outside of her clinical role, Cynthia volunteers with Audacious Church’s Kids and Creative teams and is passionate about promoting both mental and physical wellbeing, recognising the vital connection between mind and body.
Clinical Director
Kene is a Consultant in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. He qualified in Nigeria before undergoing postgraduate training in Ireland and England. He has worked in ethnically and socioeconomically diverse regions in England with significant experience in Paediatric care. He has recently moved back to Ireland to take up a Consultant post. Kene is passionate about promoting cultural awareness and sensitivity in healthcare delivery.
He has been the clinical director of ARK Outreach since 2017. Kene believes that people never forget how others make them feel. When not working, he enjoys travelling and outdoor activities.
Project Coordinator
Evelyn Adesida is a dedicated community leader, child advocate, and co-founder of The ARK Missions, a global Christian charity established in 2016. She has a deep passion for supporting children, orphans, women, families, and vulnerable communities through compassionate, faith-based, and culturally sensitive programs.
Before moving from Ireland to Canada in 2014, Evelyn was already involved in discussions about creating a charity that would reach the vulnerable, hungry, homeless, and destitute, while spreading acts of radical kindness both locally and internationally. These early conversations, together with her heart for children and orphans, helped shape the vision for The ARK Missions, now ARK Outreach.
The charity works in collaboration with other community partners. Through the support of volunteer medical practitioners, ARK Outreach has provided free medical checks and outreach services to local communities in Nigeria. Its programs have helped improve the lives of hundreds of children and women through healthcare support, community engagement, and practical acts of kindness.
Evelyn brings more than 25 years of experience in human resources, healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement. She has also spent many years volunteering with children’s programs and creating safe, nurturing environments where children can learn, grow, and feel valued.
Her continued vision is to support children and families through healthcare, education, mentorship, community outreach, and special events that bring hope and joy to children in orphanages and underserved communities.
Board Member, Ark Outreach Missions
Christopher Acheampong is a business professional, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for giving back to society. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm), a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Evaluation Economics (PGHEE), and a Master of Science (MSc) in Health Economics.
Christopher began his career in the corporate world before transitioning into entrepreneurship, where he has worked independently and pursued various business ventures. His professional and academic experiences have strengthened his understanding of business, economics, healthcare, and the importance of creating sustainable opportunities that improve people’s lives.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Christopher is deeply committed to serving others. His philosophy is rooted in the biblical principle, “It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35). This belief has shaped his approach to life and inspired his commitment to supporting individuals and communities who are less privileged.
Through the Acheampong Family Initiative based in Ghana, Christopher has supported the education of a young girl from an underprivileged community through university. In Ireland, he has volunteered with Oxfam, helping to raise funds to support communities affected by poverty in Africa and other parts of the world. He has further volunteered with Cork Simon Community, supporting homeless and vulnerable people within the local community.
Christopher’s passion for service is particularly expressed through his involvement with Ark Outreach Missions, a charity dedicated to supporting and empowering less-privileged and rural communities in Africa through medical outreach and access to healthcare. As a member of the Board, he contributes to a mission that brings practical support, dignity, and hope to people who may otherwise have limited access to essential healthcare services.
For Christopher, service is a source of genuine fulfilment, grounded in the belief that even the smallest act of kindness can make a meaningful difference. Being part of Ark Outreach Missions allows him to combine his professional experience, personal values, and passion for helping others to create lasting impact, expand the organization’s reach, and bring hope to those who need it most.
